ABOUT MAT
Every good drawing starts with looking closer.
I've been making art since I was a kid, starting with drawing and later picking up photography. Both taught me to look closely at small details, and I bring that to every design. I wanted to tattoo for years before I started FieldNote.
I spent more than 15 years in healthcare, working hands-on with patients. I know the cleanliness standards of a clinical setting, and I hold my studio to the same standard.
Years of patient care taught me to listen closely and work carefully with people, and I bring both to tattooing. You bring the idea or the thing you love, and I turn it into art that says something about you. Join the waitlist to hear first when I start booking.
